FKA twigs shares new single “Drums of Death”

FKA twigs has released the long-awaited third single from her forthcoming album Eusexua. It’s called “Drums of Death”, and it follows singles “Perfect Stranger” and “Eusexua.” twigs announced the single on Tuesday and described it as “a glitchfest served hot ON DEMAND for the face card divas.”

Like the previous drops from Eusexua, “Drums of Death” is produced by Koreless. London-based artist and club kid Tintin is featured on backing vocals. “Drums of Death” was the last song twigs completed for Eusexua, according to a press release, and Koreless produced the track while flying to Berlin, where he was slated to DJ at Berghain. He premiered the instrumental later that night at the legendary club.

twigs initially debuted the track at a Met Gala afterparty this spring and it later served as a prelude in the “Eusexua” music video. She has also performed the song at pop-up raves in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and London. Listen to the new song below featuring an extended dance sequence choreographed by Zoï Tatopoulos.

Eusexua is out 24 January 2025 via Young Recordings.
