FireAid benefit kicked off with a Billie Eilish/Green Day summit

At both the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome yesterday, a multitude of artists came together to raise relief funds for those affected by the wave of home-destroying wildfires in California, including Olivia Rodrigo, Stevie Wonder, and a full-scale Nirvana reunion among many other acts.

The Kia Forum lineup started with an unexpected bang, though: Billie Eilish meets Billie Joe Armstrong. Midway through Green Day's performance of "Last Night on Earth," from 2009's 21st Century Breakdown, Eilish joined the band onstage matching the pop-punk legends' signature black-red-and-tie fashion. The group also performed "Still Breathing" and "When I Come Around" before Billy Crystal came out to announce the evening's first donation was $1M from U2.

You can watch this great moment in history for people named Billie below.
