Singer-songwriter and producer Ethel Cain has released her latest project, Perverts, which has recently become available on January 8, 2025.

The album was self-released through her Daughters of Cain label and was the artist's first release since the 2022 album Preacher's Daughter. Cain fully wrote, recorded, produced, and mixed the 9-track, hour-and-a-half-long project, while Dale Becker handled mastering duties.

Alongside the release, Cain has introduced a new single, "Vacillator."

The music video for "Vacillator" has been directed by Cain in collaboration with Silken Weinberg. The visual presentation is supported by a production team that includes Director of Photography Joanna Nguyen, First Assistant Camera Mike Gunetong, Gaffer Ant Boyd, and Key Grip Pauli Dandino. The editing of the video was also undertaken by Cain.
