On the acclaimed singer-songwriter's 27th birthday, Ethel Cain (real name Hayden Anhedönia) has announced her proper follow-up to 2023's Preacher's Daughter, titled Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You, set for release this August.
Anhedönia released a 90 minute ambient drone project called Perverts in January of this year, which was labeled as an EP, likely so her proper LPs exist in the world built on Preacher's Daughter.
Willoughby Tucker, for those not privy to the Ethel Cain lore, is Ethel's first love, as detailed most in-depth on "A House In Nebraska". This new record is likely to detail their relationship more, which would take place before Preacher's Daughter. The caption of the announcement reads: "before everything, there was you. 1986, the year everything changed forever."

The announcement comes alongside a massive tour, with support from 9 million. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am local time.
