We've been hearing about Iceman, the upcoming project from Canadian rapper Drake, since February's Anita Max Win tour in Australia. Now, it looks like we could see the LP soon, if Drake weather vane DJ Akademiks is anything to go by.
On December 10th, Akademiks took to X and wrote "All the haters done change their tune," and hypothesized that "all [Drake] needed to was to fall back n let yall realize ain't shit popping out here without him and now yall all remember the glory days."
December 11th saw further news break: a substantial collaboration between Drake's OVO and Marvel. Their partnership is linked to X-Men superhero Iceman, alias (what else?) Bobby Drake.
Multiple singles have been issued in the lead-up to Iceman, including "What Did I Miss?" and "Which One".
Iceman will be the successor to Drake's 2023 album For All the Dogs and this year's collaboration with PartyNextDoor, Some Sexy Songs 4 U. It's looking like this year-long cycle of teasing is about to come to an end.
