Drake has released a 100GB folder of data on a new website, 100gigs.org, containing unreleased tracks, demos, and exclusive content such as b-roll and behind-the-scenes video footage. The Canadian rapper announced the release via his Instagram story just hours ago today, Tuesday, August 6.
The data dump features a significant amount of new material, providing fans with a comprehensive look at Drake's work. Among the highlights are new songs featuring Young Thug and surprisingly 21 Savage on "It's Up", as well as a contribution from Latto on "HouseKeeping Knows" produced by Gordo.
This move marks a notable shift in music distribution methods, with Drake offering an extensive collection of his work directly to fans. The dump also marks the first real release from Drake following his feud with Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar, outside of being featured on such Summer tracks like Snowd4y's "Wag Gwan Delilah" and Gordo's "Sideways".
Also of note, 21 Savage appeared on "It's Up" which may challenge some of the claims Lamar brought up in his mega-hit diss track "Not Like Us" about Atlanta rappers. During PartyNextDoor's Toronto concert last weekend, Drake appeared on stage announcing a collaborative project between them both, which he said would drop this Fall.
