Drake cancels remainder of Anita Max Win Tour

Drake cancels remainder of Anita Max Win Tour

Over five months after Drake cut his Anita Max Win Tour tour short, Live Nation has announced that the remaining shows have officially been canceled.

"Despite extensive efforts to find a solution, rescheduling within the necessary timeframe was not possible,” Live Nation Australia said in a statement. β€œDrake remains committed to returning and performing these shows when his schedule permits.”

The sold-out Anita Max Win Tour was announced last November, and marked Champagne Papi's first trip to Australia in 8 years. Starting in February 2025, it was originally planned to be a 16-date tour across the country and was meant to include Brisbane, Sydney, and two performances in Auckland, New Zealand.

Then, on February 16, it was announced that those last four shows had to be postponed due to a "scheduling conflict." Drake's team went on to say that they were "actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows." However, fans did not receive any additional updates until yesterday, July 29, when Live Nation gave official word that the shows have been cancelled, saying "despite extensive efforts to find a solution, rescheduling within the necessary timeframe was not possible."

Ticket holders for these remaining dates will receive a full refund.

The Anita Max Win Tour was announced shortly after Drake's well-documented beef with Kendrick Lamar, and was named after the "alter ego" he introduced on a Kick livestream.

Outside of the tour, Drake has taken the stage several times both by himself and with PartyNextDoor as part of their $ome $pecial $hows 4 UK tour. Earlier this month in London, the rapper found himself in another viral moment when the crowd at his headlining Wireless Festival performance began shouting "Fuck Kendrick."

The rapper reportedly smiled and said "I'll drink to that."
