Dominic Fike and Kevin Abstract unveil new band, Geezer, and drop single “Doggy”

Fresh off of his multi-collaborative solo album, BLUSH, Kevin Abstract is leaping into a new project with frequent collaborator Dominic Fike. The pair have started a new band called Geezer, and have just released the single “Doggy” featuring Love Spells and Truly Young. The announcement was made across Abstract’s social media accounts.

Listen below:

The single cover features the same hunched-over, emo individual from the cover of BLUSH, except the book case in the background has been replaced by what seems to be donkeys or mules. Abstract has teased Geezer over the past few months, calling it an extension of his new collective, also called Blush. “Geezer is a group,” Abstract stated online. “Think The Hillbillies, and we are a part of Blush. Which is also a group”.

According to a statement on Abstract’s social media, "Blush is not a fixed group. There are no permanent members. It is a platform for discussing new possibilities through collaboration. The group is ever-changing and can involve anyone who brings value to the vision."
