Following the recent passing of country legend Dolly Parton, an outpouring of love and support has emerged across the world. And now, her estate has announced the latest tribute to Parton as 2027's DOLLYFEST, a two-day festival set to take place in London and Nashville, Tennessee.

According to a press release sent out Monday, the fest was originally intended to occur in early 2026, featuring Parton on her 80th birthday as a performer and host of the event. Unfortunately, the festival never came to fruition this year, as Parton took a step back due to health challenges. It was revealed after her death that the artist quietly underwent a battle with cancer.

Danny Nozell, Founder/CEO of CTK Enterprises, said in the press release:

"What Dolly started, we will ensure is brought to life, Many people behind the scenes know that DOLLYFEST is a dream of Dolly’s that was intended to take place on her 80th birthday in Nashville."

This announcement comes after a weekend full of dedication and tributes to Parton. Most notably, the capital of her home state's intent to rename Nashville International Airport in her honor. Governor Bill Lee said the following in an announcement posted Friday:

"At a place where Tennessee welcomes the world, it is fitting that Nashville International Airport would bear the name of our state’s favorite daughter and greet travelers with the enduring legacy of Dolly’s music, generosity, faith, and kindness."
