On August 10, DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ released Hex on Bandcamp for purchase, but it had been missing from streaming services. However, the London-based house producer claims that it wasn't sample clearances keeping the record off of the major streaming platforms as one might expect, but an issue relating to the cover art.
With the caption, "curious why Hex wasn’t available for streaming on Monday?", DJ Sabrina posted two photos to social media on August 13. The first included a quote from DJ Sabrina's digital distributor, detailing the violation:
"Code 118: Art and titles must not contain distribution music partners or social media logos/names (Apple, Spotify, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc. for example) or the terms 'Exclusive' or 'Limited Edition.' Art must not reference the digital or physical nature of the content (such as saying 'Digital Version' or artwork that is just a picture of the physical media's cover art) or advertise other digital or physical products. Art must not reference pricing, or mark the product as 'free', this includes fake price tags. Art must not include websites or visual links such as QR codes or bar codes even if such links are purely aesthetic and do not function. Please remove the LP from the cover art or remove apple music from the cover art..."

In tandem with the second photo highlighting the phrases "stereo" and "LP," it seems the references to physical media play a key role in delaying a wider release of Hex.
For DJ Sabrina, this would mean either modifying the album art to exclude these phrases or opting out of major streaming entirely. As the X post would indicate, she is in the process of receiving approval for a new version of the cover, and listeners should anticipate Hex on streaming at a later date.
Until then, stream & purchase Hex on Bandcamp now.
