Divide and Dissolve sign to Bella Union, share new single “Monolithic”

Takiaya Reed is taking her doom metal project Divide and Dissolve back on the road today, kicking off an extensive North American tour in Houston, TX. But that's not all: Reed has also announced that the project has signed to Bella Union after releasing the last two D//D albums through Invada Records, and shared a new track, "Monolithic", that's as heavy as its title. A press release for the track states that a new album is "expected in 2025."

Introducing the single, Reed says:

“‘Monolithic’ is a prayer for systems of liberation, freedom, Indigenous sovereignty, and for a Black future. This song is hope for the seemingly impossible and for things that have never been seen or experienced in many lifetimes. Where no memories have been created."
