Denzel Curry teams up with Maxo Kream in new "SET IT" video, deluxe 'KOTMS II' is closer than ever

Southern rapper Denzel Curry is back with a new music video for “SET IT ft. Maxo Kream”, the third track from his latest album, King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2, released on 19 July via Loma Vista.

Directed by Omar Jones – who worked on Denzel’s “BLOOD ON MY NIKEZ”, “SKED”, and recently on ScHoolboy Q’s "THank god 4 me" – the video primarily contains black and white shots, combined with retro TV static transitions and a VHS-like aesthetic, giving it a gritty look that matches the sound of the track.

Numerous songs from the album have received music videos, such as “HOT ONE ft. TiaCorine & FERG” – which also got a second video featuring live footage from Denzel’s tour – “BLACK FLAG FREESTYLE ft. That Mexican OT”, and “SKED”.

Fans have been craving the deluxe edition of KOTMS Vol. 2 since it came out. Denzel has spoken about it in the past, confirming that bonus tracks will come out this year. As we get to the last months of the calendar, and according to Denzel’s recent posts on X, as well as the new ULTRAGROUND Records' Instagram account, the deluxe should be very close.

A few weeks ago, he linked up with Bktherula and LAZER DIM 700 to shoot a video – with cameos from Key Nyata, PlayThatBoiZay, Jimmy Rocket, Kenny Mason, and Waka Flocka Flame – seemingly for a new song from the upcoming deluxe album.
