Denzel Curry teases upcoming solo album and ULTRAGROUND and Working On Dying joint tape

Denzel Curry has revealed a pair of upcoming projects. One is a collaborative tape between ULTRAGROUND and Working on Dying titled Strictly For The Scythe, while the other is an untitled solo album.

The solo record will come after the joint LP, as he wrote on an Instagram comment, "It’s an ULTRAGROUND & WORKING ON DYING compilation tape and another tape will follow."

Working on Dying is a record label and producer group based in Philadelphia, founded by F1LTHY and Oogie Mane, with members such as ilykimchi (has produced for Ski Mask The Slump God and Curry), and BNYX (Travis Scott’s “Meltdown”, Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy”, and a frequent collaborator of Yeat). There is no information yet on which producers will join the tape.

ULTRAGROUND is a de facto label founded by Curry and Key Nyata, with members such as Playthatboizay, Bktherula, Smino, and many more.

The Florida native has also put an indefinite halt to one of his planned projects, Designed by Angels, which was going to lean more on an R&B sound and feature more singing by Curry. “Designed by Angels is postponed till further notice,” the rapper stated.

Elsewhere, Zeltron has hopped onto the second part of Fred again’s track “Victory Lap” featuring Skepta and PlaqueBoyMax, which dropped today (July 9). Listen here.
