Deftones have unleashed the new single "milk of the madonna", the eighth track off their forthcoming album private music, set to release on August 22 via Reprise.

The alt-metal legends recorded and co-produced private music in multiple locations across California, including Malibu and Joshua Tree, as well as in Nashville. Nick Raskulinecz, who worked on the ensemble’s Diamond Eyes and 2012's Koi No Yokan, returns to produce their upcoming disc.

The Sacramento, CA natives have slated several legs of a tour. The first in North America kicks off the same day their new album arrives (August 22). The trek will take them through Europe and the UK in 2026.

They also hit up Clipse, Deafheaven, 2hollis, and more for Día De Los Deftones this year on November 1.
