Sacramento industrial hip hop legends Death Grips took to Instagram this morning on their bbpoltergeist account to announce they are not broken up, after a leaked text message conversation suggested they were.
The post, in the cryptic fashion we can expect from Death Grips, shows a framed drawing with the sentence “Despite the rumors and hearsay, we remain active as Death Grips.” Check out the post below.
Interestingly, it is only cosigned by Stefan Burnett and Zach Hill. As you may remember, their breakup rumor came from an anonymous source who was talking to Andy Morin, better known as Flatlander. Morin was also not part of Death Grips’ last tour.
No further information is given at this time.
