Daft Punk collaborates with Fortnite for event

Legendary French dance duo Daft Punk have collaborated with Fortnite for an event called the Daft Punk Experience on September 27.

Here are the event details from Fortnite.com:

Press play on the Daft Punk Experience, a Fortnite music event like no other. Step into an interactive arena reimagining Daft Punk’s legendary Alive 2007 album, spin your own remixes from Daft Punk’s catalog featuring hits featuring Pharrell and The Weeknd, and explore a world set to the soundtrack of Daft Punk.

The event is a huge spectacle, with lots of flashing lights, colors, and futuristic imagery. It features several rooms to engage in Daft Punk's music.

There's the Alive 2007 room – the main stage – which is a concert of songs from Daft Punk. In the Dream Chamber Studios room you can make your very own Daft Punk mixes yourself. Then there's the Daft Club, which is a club that plays Daft Punk songs for the dancefloor. Robot Rock Arena lets you fight robots in a thrilling battle. Finally, there's the Around the World room, which allows you to make your own LEGO music video of the Daft Punk track "Around the World."

Fortnite also just released the Daft Punk bundle as well, if you want to play with the robots yourself. It includes both TB3 and GM08, two emotes, instruments, back blings, and weapon wraps. It also comes with "Get Lucky" as a jam track. You can get it here from the Fortnite item shop. It costs 3,200 v-bucks.
