D4VD’s lawyers withdraw from case

Lawyers for pop singer D4VD have withdrawn their support from the ongoing murder trial. While there wasn’t a specific reason given, it is speculated that DV4D has ran out of money, according to TMZ.

D4VD is currently on trial for the alleged murder of Celeste Hernandez. He is expected to appear in court on October 19. In the meantime, a public defender has been provided to D4VD.

“We continue to support David and his defense against these serious charges. We are grateful that the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office has taken over the representation and that David has a highly capable and committed team of attorneys and investigators behind him” said D4VD’s former legal team.

Editor's note: a previous version of this article made an error in the victim's surname. It has since been corrected.
