Converge announce new album 'Love is Not Enough', share music video for title track

Boston-based titans Converge have announced that their 11th studio album, Love Is Not Enough, releases on February 13th via Epitaph Records. The group has also released the first single for the album, the title track, along with a music video.

Watch and listen below:

This is the band's first LP since their 2021 Bloodmoon: I collaboration with singer/songwriter Chelsea Wolfe, and their first non-collaborative album in almost a decade. Produced by lead guitarist Kurt Ballou, featuring vocalist Jacob Bannon, drummer Ben Koller, and bassist Nate Newton, the band is taking their breakneck metalcore sound and infusing it with hardcore punk and atmospheric sludge.

Behind the lead single and the recording process of the album, Bannon explains:

"Internally, we passed around dozens of ideas for sequencing because everyone interprets music differently and there’s no right way of doing it. When we do that, we always joke that we all have to be equally unhappy. But this is the one that works.”

In addition to the album announcement, Converge will be playing and curating their inaugural "Saddest Day 2025" event on December 13th held at Roadrunner in Boston, which will also feature performances from hardcore acts like Full of Hell, Touché Amoré, Soul Glo, and more.
