Clipse return with 'Let God Sort Em Out', their first album since 2009

After countless leaks and years of teasing, Clipse are officially back. The duo, brothers No Malice and Pusha T, announce Let God Sort Em Out, their first record since 2009's Til The Casket Drops. The project will be released July 11 in partnership with Roc Nation Distribution.

Like their earlier Neptunes-produced work, Let God Sort Em Out will feature executive production by Pharrell Williams and cover art by visual artist KAWS. Their lead single "Ace Trumpets" comes out May 30.

Clipse shook the Virginia scene in the 2000s with tracks like the lunchroom-table-slamming classic "Grindin'" and the Bape-clad Wayne diss "Mr. Me Too". At their prime Clipse were upstoppable, dropping Lord Willin' (2002), Hell Hath No Fury (2006), and Til The Casket Drops (2009) alongside their We Got It 4 Cheap mixtape series. All the studio albums featured Williams as executive producer either solo or with Chag Hugo as the Neptunes.

After those studio albums, the group went on haitus and persued seperate careers. No Malice went publish a memoir about his conversion to Christianity and had a short stint making contemporary Christian rap with Hear Ye Him in 2013. Pusha T, on the other hand, has been much more busy; he has released five studio albums since 2011 and won a battle with Drake so infamous that it exposed a hidden child. The two shortly came back to collaborate with Kanye West on Jesus is King and have since performed together at various festivals like Primavera Sound Barcelona and Camp Flog Gnaw.

The album is available for pre-order at LETGODSORTEMOUT.COM.
