If you haven't had the song in heavy rotation since release, it's easy to miss. "P.O.V.", one of the most popular tracks off of Clipse's comeback record, Let God Sort 'Em Out, features a beat switch towards the end as Malice delivers the final verse of the song.
A change some fans have begun to notice, though, is a subtle one – directly following the lines, "If I didn't give you both sides, I wouldn't be me/I was the only one to walk away and really be free." The updated version of "P.O.V." switches back to the original beat after briefly cutting out.
The original version can be heard in reactions from when Let God Sort 'Em Out's initial release:
Album downloads that occurred before this change will still retain the original version of the track, while listeners via streaming can no longer access it.
Let God Sort 'Em Out had already gone through an editing process with the single "So Be It", which featured a placeholder beat on streaming prior to Clipse finally clearing the Talal Madah sample at the core of the original production around the time of the album's release.
Concerning "P.O.V.", no statement has been made by either Clipse or producer Pharrell Williams on reasoning behind the edit.
