Award-winning Montréal-based pop artist Charlotte Cardin is back with a new single that promises to be the first in a series of releases that will lead up to a third album expected later this year.

"The Way We Touch" comes just weeks after winning a major Francophone music award at Victoires de la Musique, and was co-written and produced with longtime collaborators Jason Brando and Sam Avant.

“This track takes me back to when my sister and I used to film our own music videos with the family VHS camera, while wearing my mother’s jewelry," says Cardin in a press release. "It’s both playful and freeing, connecting me to the place where my love for music began."

"The Way We Touch" is the second track to emerge from Cardin in the past few months, following December's "Tant pis pour elle". Cardin's most recent album 99 Nights (2023) won both Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year and the Canadian Junos.
