Chanel Beads, the project of Shane Lavers, has announced his sophomore record due out June 26th via Jagjaguwar. It has the same name as his 2024 debut Your Day Will Come, but Lavers claims the title is the only thing linking the two projects.

With this announcement comes the single "Song for the Messenger." Of the single, Lavers cryptically says, “This song is laughing at me. Like looking over your shoulder and walking off a cliff. The video is about no fear.”

2026's Your Day Will Come sees a continuation of Lavers' collaborations with Maya McGrory, who can once again be heard across the album. Casual hangs led to contributions from friends like Tchad Cousins (Urika’s Bedroom), Mari Maurice (More Eaze), Anastasia Coope, Bella Litsa and Isaac Eiger (Threshold).
