Ceremony release first-ever live album

Today, the California hardcore group Ceremony released their first-ever live album Live at the Hollywood Palladium, via Relapse Records.

The live record captures Ceremony's 2024 performance at the Los Angeles venue, which was billed as the band's "first and last time" playing their beloved 2010 release Rohnert Park in full. Live at the Hollywood Palladium includes the full play-through of Rohnert Park alongside favorites from across the band's catalog like 2006's "Kersed" and 2015's "The Separation." Live at the Hollywood Palladium was mixed by Taylor Young and mastered by Brad Boatright.

Guitarist Andy Nelson commemorates the release in press materials and hints at new material.

"Two years ago today, surrounded by thousands of our closest friends, heroes, and comrades in California, we played THE SHOW. At the time, someone had the idea of properly recording it, just to see how it came out, and well, as we gear up for our biggest year yet, and with new music on the horizon, we are thrilled to share the incredible, exhilarating document of that one-time-only celebration with you now."

Ceremony have not released a full LP since 2019's In The Spirit World Now. In 2022, the group released the stand-alone single "Vanity Spawned By Fear." This year, the band is billed to play Coachella and Hellfest in France.
