Singer-songwriter Cass McCombs is back with a brand new record. Interior Live Oak, out August 15 via Domino, follows up McCombs's archival release last year, Seed Cake on Leap Year, and is being called his "most personal album to date."
With the news comes the video for the record's first official single, "Peace". Watch/listen below:
Inspired by that archival release, McCombs reportedly chose to work with some of his oldest collaborators on this album., including Jason Quever (of Papercuts) and Chris Cohen. The LP also features contributions from Matt Sweeney and Mike Bones.
"Peace" is actually the second helping we've received from this new record. "Priestess" was released a couple months prior to the announcement, alongside a Tiny Desk Concert.
Additionally, McCombs will be headed out on tour across Europe (including several dates supporting Father John Misty), before returning to the US for a couple headlining shows and a show alongside MJ Lenderman. Find all those dates below.
