In a huge win for gay millennials, Carly Rae Jepsen and Girls creator Lena Dunham are set to pen a Broadway adaptation of the 1999 rom-com 10 Things I Hate About You.

Jepsen is co-writing the score with producer Ethan Gruska, with whom she collaborated with on her most recent album “The Loveliest Time,” and Dunham will co-write the book with playwright Jessica Huang.

The adaptation’s creative team also includes two two-time Tony-winners: director and choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and music supervisor, arranger and orchestrator Tom Kitt. The producer of “Shucked” and “Beautiful — The Carole King Musical” Mike Bosner will also be involved.

There is currently no information on casting or when the musical will begin performances.
