Cardi B's second album finally has a release date. Yesterday, the star announced an announcement via an Instagram reel, much speculated to be the reveal of her much-delayed second album.
That speculation was correct.
Cardi B's sophomore album, called Am I The Drama?, will be released on September 19th. Check out the cover and Cardi's teaser video below:

It's been over seven years since the last Cardi B album, her GRAMMY-winning debut Invasion of Privacy. The rapper has alluded to her second album multiple times, blaming the delays on issues with securing her guest features. She has previously promised the release of the album for 2023 and late 2024. Finally, fans have a release date.
The announcement ties in with new music. Last week, Cardi dropped "Outside", which will be on the new album. Listen below:
According to the Spotify track list preview, Am I The Drama? is 23 tracks, and includes two of the singles Cardi has released since Invasion of Privacy: the 2020 phenomenon "WAP" featuring Megan Thee Stallion, and 2021's "Up". Though Cardi hasn't released a full album since 2018, she has appeared on songs with a variety of artists including GloRilla, Shakira, Latto, and more. She's also dropped a few other singles, including 2024's "Enough (Miami)" and 2023's "Bongos".
