Vancouver grunge-pop outfit Buddie have shared their latest single, “In the Glass Shell”, from their forthcoming third LP Glass, out November 7th via Crafted Sounds.
The track digs into the endless chase for dopamine hits through instant content and quick solutions — and the fallout of isolation and consumerism that comes with it. Watch the lyric video below:
Glass marks Buddie’s first album written and recorded in Vancouver, their current home base. It’s a breezy yet heavy 25-minute ride through ‘90s-inspired grunge pop, mixing lo-fi haze with melodic edge.
The band is also hitting the road for a Canadian tour, kicking off a tour next week. Full dates are listed below.
