New footage shared by the Los Angeles Police Department shows the shooting involving Jillian Lauren Shriner, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner.

On April 9, officers were pursuing three suspects near Shriner's Eagle Rock home when Shriner reportedly exited her home carrying a firearm and allegedly fired towards officers. Officers returned fire, injuring Shriner in the shoulder. She was charged with attempted murder.

New video shows officers searching the backyard of the home adjacent to Shriner's. Security footage shows Shriner entering her backyard, gun in hand. We see additional angles of bodycam footage where officers command her to drop the gun from behind a fence. "You're going to get shot" an officer yells before identifying himself as police moments later. A minute passes before one officer remarks, "Oh, she racked it." Officers quickly open fire on Shriner. Shriner returned inside and 911 was called.

In the audio, another woman calls on Shriner's behalf. Shriner is heard in the background describing the officers as three men on the other side of her fence. Based on the video, officers are not heard identifying themselves until 90 seconds into the confrontation. It's unclear if she was aware of whether or not she was aiming her weapon at police or the chase suspects.

An hour after retreating to the inside of her home, Shriner surrendered herself to police and was taken into custody. She was treated for non life threatening injuries and later released on a $1 million dollar bond. She is set to appear in court on April 30th.
