Singer and bassist Blu DeTiger has shared the details of her second LP, N.Y. Baby. The record is out November 6 via Atlantic Records, and follows up 2024's All I Want Is Everything.

The title track, featuring Holly Walker, Say She She, and Flavor Flav, is a funk-forward disco moment that harkens back to the Studio 54 heyday. It's the fourth track DeTiger's released from the album so far, following up "Whisper," "Shock!," and "Feel Good."

N.Y. Baby honors DeTiger's New Yorkness and everything that comes with it. On the album, DeTiger says:

"Being a New Yorker is such a huge part of who I am, and ‘N.Y. Baby’ is me fully embracing that. I’m restless, independent, curious; I love movement, meeting people, and not knowing exactly where a night is going to end. There’s something about this city that always tempts you to keep going, to stay out a little later, meet one more person, hear one more song. I wanted the song to capture that feeling of letting go of control and surrendering to wherever the night takes you."

DeTiger is embarking on a fall tour that includes solo shows, festival appearances, and support for Thundercat.
