If you thought the boys were tired of making fart jokes and impressions of lewd sex acts in front of thousands of people, you’d be wrong. San Diego pop-punk band Blink-182 has announced they are back on tour across the United States, with the Missionary Impossible Tour hitting up festivals and stadiums across the country. The tour will be supported by special guests, Alkaline Trio.
Alka singer and guitarist, Matt Skiba, was formerly a member of Blink-182, filling in for Tom DeLonge when he quit the band in 2015. Skiba reunited with Alkaline Trio in 2022, and the band released their tenth album, Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs, in January 2024. Blink-182 is still touring their 2023 reunion album, One More Time.., but according to a press release, the band is planning “a setlist packed with classics spanning their entire catalog” for this upcoming tour.
The late summer/fall tour will begin August 28 in Hollywood, FL and will progress up the East Coast, wrapping up in Palm Desert, CA, October 4. Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, April 11, 10 a.m. local time, and Live Nation will host a pre-sale via Ticketmaster, Thursday April 10 at 10 a.m. (with a pre-sale code).
