Black Moth Super Rainbow have announced their new studio album, titled Soft New Magic Dream, which is set for release on June 6 through Rad Cult. To go with the announcement, the band has released the lead single “Open The Fucking Fantasy.”

Soft New Magic Dream marks the band’s first full-length album since Panic Blooms was released in 2018. According to a press release, the album will showcase what fans can expect: “freaky love songs”.

The group has also outlined plans for a series of live performances scheduled for late summer and early fall. Their upcoming shows kick off on August 7 at Spirit Hall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Following that, they will perform at Mahall’s in Cleveland, Ohio on August 8, and then at Chicago’s Metro on August 9 to conclude their August dates.

The band’s September shows will take them to locations including New York City, Philadelphia, and Cambridge, while their October itinerary features stops in Nashville and Asheville, wrapping up at The Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia on October 11.
