Acclaimed hip hop artist billy woods has surprise-released a new collaborative record with producer August Fanon entitled gowillog, along with an experimental film. The release is a reimagining of woods's previous LP GOLLIWOG, which came out earlier this year.

woods' label, Backwoodz Studioz, has released CDs, LPs, and limited VHS tape copies. woods has stated that it will not be available on any streaming service besides Bandcamp.

gowillog features Aesop Rock, Moor Mother, Fatboi Sharif, Bruiser Wolf, ELUCID, Cavalier, Al Divino, and Despot.

Accompanying the music is a 47 minute experimental video, edited by Anniessa Antar, which can be watched here:
