Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, and Red Hot Chili Peppers to perform at Olympics closing ceremony

The 2024 Olympics will end with a bang, as Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, and Red Hot Chili Peppers will all perform on Sunday, August 11th in the closing ceremony.

The artists will take the stage in Los Angeles, where there will be a mix between live and pre-recorded performances.

All of the artists have been busy as of late. Billie has debuted a new era of her career with the release of her new album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, which came out May 17th. She's also on tour, where she's making her rounds in the United States and Canada. It wouldn't be a surprise if she performed some of her biggest hits off the album, like "LUNCH" and "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" at the ceremony.

She also recently had her first feature on a song when she and Charli XCX collaborated on "Guess featuring Billie Eilish". They also did a video for it, which can be found here:

Charli XCX teased on X that she might show up to perform the song with Billie, and the post quickly went viral.

However, she seems to be trolling unfortunately, as she then posted "lololololol sry just kidding" just two minutes later. With how popular the song is, it could have been a real treat to see these two close the Olympics out together.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have been on tour as well in 2024, playing their most recent show on July 30th. The legendary band's most recent album was in 2022, called Return of the Dream Canteen, which is the 13th album in their storied career.

Snoop Dogg has been doing a lot at the Olympics this year. He's been doing coverage for NBC, and has been all over Paris and social media.

It makes complete sense that the west coast legend would want to put a bow on his work this year with a special performance in his home state.

Los Angeles is a perfect place for these artists to close the Olympics, as the 2028 Olympics will take place in the city of angels.
