Big Thief have shared “All Night All Day”, the follow-up to lead single “Incomprehensible”, from their upcoming album Double Infinity, out on September 5 via 4AD.
Watch the lyric video for “All Night All Day” below (or with Spanish lyrics, if that works better for you, here):
Accompanied by a backdrop of vivid percussion and “crunchy psych-folk guitars,” the new song is a candid expression of desire and love.
“Swallow poison swallow sugar / Sometimes they taste the same / But I know your love is neither / And love is just a name / It's a thing we say for what pulls through / 'Til we come together,” vocalist and songwriter Adrianne Lenker sings on the chorus.
