Yesterday, we reported on Febuary frontwoman Rila Ogawa’s accusations against Kind of Like Spitting’s Ben Barnett of grooming and sexual manipulation. In the statement she shared via a linked Google Doc on her Instagram Story, Ogawa expressed fear about playing Best Friends Forever Fest, which had both Febuary and Kind of Like Spitting on the bill. Her words:

“It has been getting worse over time, especially getting closer to Best Friends Forever fest.
I am scared to be at the same festival as my groomer. I am even more terrified at the thought of young impressionable fans going up to him as I once did without knowing how he really is.”

Barnett denied the claims in his own Instagram Story, but Best Friends Forever Fest has since announced that Kind of Like Spitting has been removed from the lineup. T
