Fresh off last year’s EP Ephemera, their first release with new label Pure Noise Records, Ben Quad return to form with a new slice of pop punk with “It’s Just A Title”, along with the announcement of their full-length album Wisher, out November 14.
Pulling inspiration from bands like All-American Rejects and Motion City Soundtrack, “It’s Just A Title” is that sticky bubblegum brand of pop punk you can’t help but blast. Watch the video here:
Wisher takes its name from a hope for a better future and even features Sam Canty of Texas country-rock outfit Treaty Oak Revival. The tracklist is stacked with wild and hilarious titles, with the closer standing out as “I Hate Cursive and I Hate All of You”. Here’s hoping that’s a jab at longhand writing and not the legendary Omaha emo pioneers Cursive... we don’t need a feud like that!
