Behemoth has premiered a new single and a video alongside it for "The Shadow Elite" which marks the second release from their forthcoming album, The Sht Ov God, set to drop on May 9. The Polish black metal outfit chose to release this track on Ash Wednesday, of course.

The video depicts an underground event arranged by Behemoth, allegedly intended for their most devoted fans, referred to as the "Shadow Elite." According to the band, attendees were invited to a clandestine location where they experienced a "primal" live performance.

They say:

“On an exclusive invite-only basis, the band’s legionnaires gathered at a secret location for a raw, primal live performance. Branded and tattooed with Behemoth’s sigils, the band’s most dedicated fans, known as ‘The Shadow Elite,’ form a chaotic scene as the band performs from within a cage.”

Nergal, the band's frontman, described the new track as:

“Araw, high-energy anthem with a relentless drive — a banger built for the stage!

Lyrically, it’s a call to arms — a fearless battle cry for outcasts, anarchists, and free minds to rise. We will not be silenced. It’s about uniting and summoning the courage to embrace and amplify the fire of freedom that burns within us!”
