Filipino-English singer-songwriter Beabadoobee is hitting new heights with her third studio album This Is How Tomorrow Moves as it tops UK charts in its first week of release.

Beabadoobee's profile has steadily climbed with each new studio album release. Her last album, Beatopia, peaked at number four on the UK charts (it didn't break the US Billboard 200) and resulted in the singer supporting Taylor Swift for a significant chunk of The Eras Tour. All of that build-up has culminated in this landmark success for the Rick Rubin-produced This Is How Tomorrow Moves.

Whether or not Beabadoobee managed to re-enter the US charts with her new album remains unknown. The full list for the week of August 18 isn't live, but the resounding success in her home country is hopefully a positive omen for the alt-rock record.
