Baths reissuing debut LP for its 15th anniversary with unreleased songs and remixes

Baths – the project of electronic producer, singer, and songwriter Will Wiesenfeld – put out a brand album, Gut, back in February. The writers here at TND just placed it in our Top 40 Albums of 2025!

But now, Wiesenfeld is looking backward. Out this Friday (Dec 12) and physically next year, Wiesenfeld is reissuing his debut album Cerulean for its 15th anniversary. Retitled Cerulean R, the release features three distinct sides: "Reissue", a newly-remastered version of the original tracklist; "Remix", with eight "unearthed" remixes; and "Resurface", which has eight never-before-released demos and b-sides.

Check out one of those demos below:

Cerulean launched my career and gave me a footing in music that I’d only ever dreamed possible," Wiesenfeld says. "And I owe so much of my continued success to the relationship that people have with this record."

He goes on:

"I’m proud to celebrate it with as much of an offering as I was able to make. It's my attempt at trying to collect all the remaining easter eggs surrounding Cerulean, to bring fans in as close as possible. The most unique aspect of Cerulean R is that all of this music is from the precise 2009-2011 era that it was created, with no recent intervention besides the mastering process. It’s all part of the sort of pocket universe that existed around its release–a true time capsule. It’s a magical thing to be able to include so much material that has waited an entire 15 years to be heard for the first time. The entirety of it is remastered in astounding clarity by the record’s original engineer Daddy Kev. Kev also ran the iconic club night Low End Theory in Los Angeles, which hosted Baths as their first guest residency in the night's history."

Additionally, Baths will be going out on a short set of dates across multiple countries, including the US and Japan. Find those dates down below.
