Australian psych-rock outfit Bananagun are back with a new track off their newest album Why is the Colour of the Sky?

The band has released a music video to go along with the new track, "Gift of the Open Hand".

The new song features Bananagun lead vocalist, Nick van Bakel, showcasing his frustrations with "the people's lack of sovereignty."

“We’ve been funneled into a perverted existence where we owe our thanks to a system that bleeds us and I don't understand how people stand it!", laments van Bakel. "I think people would be happier and more productive without the intervention of governments”
