Originally scheduled to kickstart their North American tour in Pennsylvania on 7 September, Los Angeles punksters Bad Religion have recently pulled all dates.
Announcing the news Instagram on Tuesday 27 August, the band said it was "due to an unforeseen family circumstance." The full statement reads:
"Due to an unforeseen family circumstance, we are cancelling our fall tour. We apologize for any disappointment and disruption this may cause. We appreciate your understanding. For ticket refunds, please visit point of purchase."
The cancellation has come as a shock to fans. Following a successful European tour in June with special guests Death Lens, the band later announced their North American tour with more dates.
In conjunction with the announcement, the band sincerely apologized for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause. They've also encouraged fans to check out rising angsty-punk prodigy and support act Niis, who were meant to accompany them on tour.
