Adam22 says No Jumper is "Going Broke" amid lawsuit, downsizes store and staff

On Wednesday, April 2, No Jumper podcast founder Adam "Adam22" Grandmaison announced that the company will be undergoing company-wide layoffs to combat their recent staggering loss in views.

Watch the full announcement here:

He notes that No Jumper has been falling off since their explosion during the Covid pandemic. According to him, their YouTube statistics were "doubled or even tripled" what they are now. Their Snapchat and Facebook, which he said had hit "at least six figures a month," shrank drastically in the following years. Grandmaison also notes that their once-promising Patreon fell off greatly after its launch, saying that there was a "decreased interest in seeing [them] interview pornstars."

Despite the gradual loss in views, Grandmaison described No Jumper as profitable until the company faced "two major Ls" in the last couple of months.

Their Instagram got taken down after receiving no strikes on their 10-year-old account:

"We still have absolutely no idea why. We have had no luck getting it back despite being in contact with what seems like every Instagram recovery guy on the face of the planet."

The company made money selling sponsored posts through their popular Instagram page, and that opportunity seemingly vanished overnight (they did make a new profile and sell posts through Grandmaison's own Instagram, though).

The other "Major L" is what Grandmaison describes as a "bullsh*t lawsuit by a former employee." Even though Grandmaison says the case has no validity and claims that other lawyers describe it as an "extortion attempt," it has cost the company hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Even though he does not mention the former employee by name, with the video even including censored b-roll footage of the individual, sleuths have determined the person to be ex-host HarmoniousYuriy. Yuriy's case claims that No Jumper did not hold Grandmaison and two other higher-ups accountable for workplace harassment and discrimination towards Yuriy and Rylee Garcia, another former podcast member.

Due to all of the circumstances, No Jumper has decided to lay off multiple employees, close down their Melrose store, and move to a smaller space. "I should have paid more attention to DJ Vlad," says Grandmaison, "and kept my overhead as low as possible."

With No Jumper's behind-the-scenes legal trouble, the company has also been facing a lot of backlash online over the last few weeks. People are claiming that one of Grandmaison's podcasts implicated rappers Bricc Baby and Luce Cannon in Big U's mafia-like RICO case. The complaint that led to the federal sweep claimed that No Jumper's podcast played a "significant part" in the raids. Even the comments on No Jumper's video joke that Adam22 will start 'working for the feds' to pay for legal fees.
