Bad Bunny and Logan Paul are among several celebrities who have made appearances in WWE over the years, and these two men may find themselves clashing heads in the squared circle at some point in the future.
Bad Bunny had an interview with Rolling Stone about his new album Debí Tirar Más Fotos where he spoke about his role in WWE, and how he would love to get into the ring "one more time."
"I want to do it one more time. I want to put my life at risk in the ring. I felt like I didn’t risk it enough in the ring, and I want to do it. I want to scare my mother. When? I don’t know. We stay in contact with the people at WWE, we’re always paying attention to what’s going on. But when, I don’t know. I hope there’s a time where I can really get ready, like I did the last few times. And I’d love to take more time to get ready physically." - Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny then said he wants to do wrestling full-time, and would love to play a bad guy.
"Sometimes, I say, “I’m going to quit everything and just do wrestling full time,” he said. "I feel like in wrestling, I just go sporadically as a celebrity. I’m going to go full time and be a heel. That’s what I’d love. [Laughs.] I was always a fan of the villains more than the good guys."
A good example of a heel in the WWE is none other than Logan Paul, who went on Instagram and called him out. "Then get in the ring with me," Paul said.
Paul and Bunny have had a lot of high profile matches with the company. Paul became the United States Champion at one point, and has fought many world champions and legends like Roman Reigns and Randy Orton. Bad Bunny entered the 2021 Royal Rumble and fought former WWE Champion The Miz at WrestleMania that year.
However, Bad Bunny's arguable biggest moment in the WWE was when he was, indeed, putting his life on the line. He surely felt the dangers of professional wrestling in his brutal San Juan Street Fight match at Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico. Fighting against former World Heavyweight Champion and childhood friend Damien Priest, the match was quite violent and chaotic, leaving Bad Bunny with several scars to prove it. And considering his comments, it looks like he wants to go even further than that in the future.
Bad Bunny has taken to wrestling very naturally, as many fans were calling the match one of the best of 2023. His entrance for the match also went viral on social media. He entered to the song "Chambea", and had seemingly everyone in the crowd singing along to the song as he came down to the ring. Bad Bunny has a song also called "BOOKER T", named after the wrestler.
Bad Bunny spoke about how much the match in Puerto Rico meant to him.
"What can I tell you? It was nice," he said. "We were there until we could bring WWE to Puerto Rico. And man, I actually feel like it was good for them and for everyone, because I saw that last year Backlash was in France, now it’s going to Mexico. They saw that it worked."
