Still, the Irish indie folk project seems to be working with a much fuller sound, featuring some wonderful string sections toward the last third of the track. Look for Awayland in January.

Deerhoof drops some visuals via this Richard Huntington Swanson-directed video for the track “Mario’s Flaming Whiskers III,” which is loaded with weird, artsy takes on circus sideshow acts. The song comes from the noise pop band’s latest effort, Breakup Song. Watch a review of it here.
A neat little collaborative track from Nicolas Jarr and Theatre Roosevelt, which was uploaded to SoundCloud a few days ago with no real warning. The track features Jaar’s usual electronic tinkering against some pitch-shifted vocals toasting in the midst of some strange, glitchy edits.
The Italian psych pop project known as Dumbo Gets Mad has dropped one more single from its forthcoming full-length, which is set to drop in January via Bad Panda Records. I’m digging the quirky and slightly lo-fi feel of this track. The light beat, falsetto vocals, and bouncy keyboards
