Dizzee Rascal - "Pagans" (Video)

Inspired by the cinematic and musical influences of “Kill Bill” and Wu-Tang, grime figurehead Dizzee Rascal hits us with a visually engaging and amusing video for his latest single “Pagans.” The song is composed of a deep, throbbing, pounding line of grime production perfectly suited for Dizze’s mid-pitched, rapidly delivered lyricism as he starts off “I don’t speak Queen’s English/but I’m still distinguished/don’t need no suit or tie to let you know I mean business/I  know you into this/even if you were deaf, dumb and blind and awkwardly rhythmless…”

It’s nothing that we wouldn’t expect from one of London’s greatest emcees as he lets loose a barrage of bars to remind anyone that may have forgotten just how wickedly unforgiving he can be with the rhymes. And the revenge saga kung fu flick of a video more than makes the song that much more listenable.
