Young Turks displaying the talents of recent signee Quirke with the track “Break A Mirrored Leg,” which is one of the most insane pieces of electronic music I’ve come across this month. The beat is so speedy, relentless, and hyper. The rhythms are just so punchy and detailed, yet, they don’t seemed to be hindered by the incredibly atmospheric production surrounding them. I’m loving the strange, manipulated sounds just orbiting around this speedy tempo. It’s just an aural thrill, honestly. Beautiful, watery, cavernous, lush, and chilling as well.
Look for Quirke’s new EP, Acid Beth, on May 19th.
