New York’s hip hop scene has been quite active lately, with crews such as A$AP Mob, Pro Era, Flatbush ZOMBiES, and The Underachievers enjoying notable amounts of success throughout the past couple of years. The latter two have teamed up for a track titled “No Religion,” which comes from Flatbush ZOMBiES’ upcoming mixtape, Better off Dead. Stream the track above via the group’s SoundCloud.

If nothing else, both Flatbush ZOMBiES and The Underachievers certainly have a respectable amount of energy. The MCs in each crew possess consistently fiery flows and inspired delivery, which serve to maintain a substantial sense of momentum throughout this track. Lyrically, their lines are similarly empowered, with a hook that encourages other rappers to stop trying to follow in the footsteps of their idols and instead strive to be something greater. With an appropriately hard-hitting beat to back them up, Flatbush ZOMBiES and The Underachievers pull together every element necessary in order to display their bold personalities.
