It seems two of the larger figures in underground hip hop are at it right now, and trading shots in new tracks in an age where most hip hop stars are just content to keep most confrontations on Twitter.
I’m surprised it went as far as these two cuts, which are both pretty decent tracks from B and Joey. Both of ’em sound hungry, confident, and aggressive over well-produced instrumentals. It’s entertainment at the end of the day, but I’d support more headbutting between these guys if we continue to get tracks like this.
Oh, and I all think we know where the title of Joey’s track came from. R.I.P. STEEZ.
