When I caught word of Sigur Rós releasing a video for one of my favorite tracks from their new album, Valtari, I got pretty excited to see what kind of visuals the band had attached to the beautiful, fragile piano piece.

I was shocked to find an intensely avant-garde loaded with NSFW images and Shia LaBeouf playing a lead role. As ridiculous as concoction of elements, there’s actually a strange beauty to this piece, and the unlikely beginning gets explained through the video’s, uh, “storyline” as it progresses through an argument, the licking of psychedelic lollipops, and an underwater car ride.
