A young MC Ride–yeah, the Death Grips MC Ride–is featured on this Mxlplx video for “Civic Duties.” The video seems to be shot in the same scenic, highway-convenient location as this Swank Daddy video for “I’m A Man”:
Ride clearly appears in the background of that video as well.
Considering how potent Ride’s style is, it only make sense that he built up to it with a series of demos and probably long-forgotten projects. Something like the Money Store doesn’t drop out of thin air, and this is proof.
